Looks like lots of Red Sox fans are already thinking spring. It’s a month until the pitchers and catchers have to report to spring training in Fort Myers, and already all the tickets are sold out for four of the Grapefruit League games.
Three of the sellouts are against National League teams, and it is kind of fun to see some different players in action. The Philadelphia Phillies, the New York Mets, or the Cincinnati Reds – I’d probably go with the Mets game myself. But I have to admit that the game I’d most want to turn to a ticket broker to see would be the March 12th meetup with our old frienemies, the New York Yankees.
Oh, well, desperate as I am for the baseball season to get underway again, it’s a lot more realistic to think about baseball tickets here in town at Fenway Park. So I guess I’ll be holding out until June to see the Yanks.
